EFCC provides groceries, hygiene products, and other basic necessities for the Cedar Rapids community who are food insecure. There are no requirements to meet or paperwork to fill out.

EFCC was founded by Elayne Fisher in 2014

In Iowa, 344,550 people (or one in nine) face hunger or food insecurity. One in six children face hunger. The Elayne Fisher Community Cupboard (EFCC) at Unity Center of Cedar Rapids provides groceries for people to help alleviate food insecurity.
