Living in the Realities of Immigration

Amy’s story highlights how she met her husband, Gabriel, from El Salvador, and learned to navigate and actively engage with the immigration system in the United States. She will share her personal perspective on current immigrant issues and how they manage them in a local latino family with members ranging in immigrant status from undocumented to American citizens.

is a nonprofit leader passionate about making a lasting impact through fundraising and advocacy. With a decade of fundraising experience and her master’s degree in strategic leadership, she has led successful initiatives that help build cultures of philanthropy and bring communities together for local and statewide nonprofits in immigration and refugee services, mental health, and healthy families.
